Golf SPIKE insert systems

Insert Systems are the type of receptacle found on the bottom of your golf shoe. The Insert System determines the type of cleat that will need to fit your shoe.

Fitting new Golf Spikes has many benefits to your game and performance but choosing the correct thread pattern to match your golf shoes insert is a vital part of making this straight forward task as simple as possible.

The receptacle, brand of golf shoes and existing golf cleat thread pattern fitted into you shoe will all play a part in choosing the correct spikes for you.  Many shoe manufacturers tend to keep to one thread design and choice of golf cleat.  Golf shoes of a certain age may have a used a different thread pattern in prior years so be sure to check this prior to making your purchase.

The receptacle insert guide below will help you establish which cleat thread pattern best suits your requirements.  The guide shows the type of receptacles and inserts are fitted to the sole of the golf shoes and also the type of thread pattern on the cleat that is most commonly used by the manufacturer.
