GRYPTONITE TOUGHENED FLEXIBLE BLACK FERRULE SUPER GLUE 20g

Gryptonite Black Ferrule Super Glue is our toughened cyanoacrylate “Superglue” with high impact resistance and strength for maximum flexibility, which make it the Professionals’ choice for securing your golf club ferrule to the golf club clubhead. Used by many PGA Professionals’ and Club Makers worldwide.

Gryptonite Black Ferrule Super Glue offers increased temperature resistance and its almost black colour make “Black Ferrule” highly suitable for getting the ultimate bond between the ferrule and the clubhead or other areas where you would use a super glue.

Black Ferrule bonds rapidly to a variety of surfaces including steel, plastics and graphite. The usable handling times are 5 – 10 seconds for plastics and 15 – 20 seconds for metals.

Gryptonite Black Ferrule Super Glue is a black, toughened cyanoacrylate with a high impact and peel strength for maximum flexibility, making it the ultimate super glue to secure a ferrule to the clubhead.

Its increased temperature resistance and dark colour make it suitable for a wide range of applications within your golf workshop. It bonds rapidly to a variety of surfaces including steel, plastics and rubbers so it is a versatile glue that can be used for other appropriate jobs within your golf workshop.

Black Ferrule is a single component adhesive that polymerizes rapidly when pressed into a thin film between parts. The moisture adsorbed on the surface initiates the curing of the adhesive.

Strong bonds are developed extremely fast and on a great variety of materials, none more so that between a ferrule and a club head. These properties also make black ferrule ideal for high-speed production lines such as golf club building.

Surface Preparation

Surfaces should be clean, dry and grease-free before applying Black Ferrule.

Use a solvent such as acetone or isopropanol for degreasing the surfaces prior to application.

Some metals such as steel, aluminium, copper and its alloys will benefit from light abrasion with emery cloth to remove the oxide layer.

Directions for use with ferrules:

Apply 3 small droplets to the chamfered underside of the ferrule and push the ferrule to meet the clubhead, clear any excess that may appear when the two parts meet.

If the ferrule is already in place and you are gluing the clubhead on, clear any excess adhesive that comes out of the golf club hosel and follow the same procedure as above.

Shelf life and Storage Store in a cool dry place in an air tight container and replace cap straight after use, always keep upright when storing. Follow all the guidelines within the safety data sheet (available on request). If stored correctly this product has a shelf life for a period of 6 months.
