Product Details

GRYPTONITE® ‘Tour Truck Two Part Golf Club Epoxy’ now exclusively available to the every club-maker and golf workshop in the U.K.

Gryptonite Tour Truck Golf Club Epoxy is a two-part fast-setting ‘High Impact’ adhesive developed specifically for use to with a wide variety of substrates such as steel shafts, graphite shafts and other materials associated with Golf Club components.

It’s every Professional’s workshop and Custom-Fit specialist’s go to epoxy for building Golf Clubs.

It cures rapidly at room temperature within 5 minutes and gives a handling strength in approximately 8 minutes allowing you to handle the club with confidence after a short period of time.

30-60 minutes gives you a working time allowing you to work on the golf club as required, such as re-gripping, painting and making loft and lie adjustments.

24 hours gives you a full cure and the strongest ‘High Impact’ epoxy that is highly recommended for Golf Club re-shafting. (Faster Full Curing Epoxy is not recommended by Professionals Club Makers and Epoxy engineers due to the nature and stress involved when hitting Golf Balls).

Typical Curing Properties

Mix ratio by volume 1:1

Maximum gap fill 2 mm

Usable / pot life @23°C 3-4 mins

Handling time @23°C 5-8 mins

Working strength @23°C 30-60 mins

Full cure @23°C 24 hours

Dries Clear

An increase of 8°C in temperature will halve the cure time. Lower temperatures will result in a slower cure time.

Golf Club Preparation: Surfaces/Hosels/Shafts should be clean, dry and grease-free before applying the adhesive. Use a suitable solvent (such as acetone or isopropanol) for the degreasing of surfaces if required. Most shafts/hosels and surfaces will benefit from light abrasion with emery cloth (or similar), to remove any oxide layer and provide a better bond.

Directions for Use: 1. Dual cartridges: Remove the cartridge cap and dispense epoxy until both sides are flowing. 2. Mix equal amounts. 3. Apply the epoxy to one or both components. 4. Join the parts and apply a firm pressure, secure components if possible. 5. Parts must be joined within 3-4 minutes of mixing the two epoxy components. 6. Large quantities and/or higher temperature will decrease the usable mix time life. 7. Full cure will be obtained after 24 hours at 25°C (77°F). Heat can be used to accelerate the curing process but always remember the saying in club making ‘longer is stronger’.
